Michael Aboya (2020)

Inspired by music, books, and movies, ABOYA crafts astonishing pictures and strong messages to the world. Through a genius use of light, composition, and human emotions, his photos tell stories about the life and beauty of people from Ghana (Africa) and Accra, his hometown. Last year, at only 24 years old, he was awarded the best photo of the year by the internationally renowned AGORA Awards.
His work provokes us to listen to the unspoken, demands us to see the beauty of Africa, inspires us to enjoy the happiness of being alive, empowers the simplicity of life, urges us to perceive and value women's strength and self-love, and invites us to walk with him through his courageous and adventurous journey as a young photographer.

With a trajectory to make Halley's comet itself envy, Siba Veloso, a slender & quiet figure, with a calm and light look, combines words of averse verses and transforms the stage into revolutionary acts. With a dense voice, cadent and insistent in echoing in the soul, he weaves musical notes, plays rhythms, blossoms poetry, and gives light to narratives that reinvent themselves in bursts that chill the skin and make us sing. He made visible, nominal, and personal the popular singing and singers, the masters and cirandas (popular dance) of Pernambuco, and built a discography that whispers, by the bedside on dark nights, a history of struggle, success, applause, and the search for one's own voice.
Rebeca Sá (2020)

Rebeca that has a degree in design from UFPE (Federal University of Pernambuco) and worked as an Interaction Designer at CESAR (Center for Interaction Design), she got her master's degree at the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University (USA) and at the University of Madeira (Portugal), worked as an Interaction Designer at Frog, UX Design Lead at Phillips.
Currently, Rebeca works as a Product Designer at Uber in Amsterdam, Netherlands. We talked about the trajectory of this amazing woman in building her career in UX and Product Design, and her challenges.
